Walter Zimbrick

Our brother Walter was born on July 22,1949 and left us on November 21, 2014. He was a special person from day one. He faced life challenges like no other. The smallest tasks were a challenge for Walter but he faced his every day tasks with pride and joy. Always being a hard worker he was able to retire after 40 years in the janitorial business.
When he wasn't working, he loved to fish and play with his dogs. He would love to tell you the stories of how many fish he caught at Blanchard dam.
He was able to do some traveling to Washington and Alaska to visit with family, this was a great feat for Walter since he had a great fear of flying. Seeing the Polar bear made up for it! He also had a great love for country music and old movies.
Walter resided at the Zodiac Home in North Branch for many years and at a home in Farmington where he was greatly taken care of and loved by all.
Walter left behind sisters, Annette Zimmerman, Carmen Zimbrick, Melody Johannes; brothers Harley and Ron Zimbrick.
Preceding him in death is his mother Marceline Zimbrick and sister Hazel Christensen.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Dec. 7th at the Zodiac Home in North Branch. Donations can be made to the home in his name.

Arrangements are being completed by The Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
