Services First Baptist Church ~ Faribault, Minnesota
  Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 12 noon
Visitation One hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church

Wanda Mohler Neubert, fun-loving, witty mother, grandmother, and devoted friend to many, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2014, the day which marked the 76th anniversary of her marriage to our dad, W. Frederick Neubert, in whom she found her ideal husband.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 12 noon at First Baptist Church, Faribault with the Reverend Daniel D. Mead, officiating. Interment will be at Warsaw Cemetery, Warsaw.

Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

She was the doting mother of Kathy, Fred, Cheryl, Janet, and Jacque, and gracious mother-in-law to Eleanor and Mike. She would also have liked for us to mention her grandchildren John, Cherilynn and Todd Veland, Tim, Nancy, Tanya, Aaron and Matt Neubert, Jason Fechner, Zac, Catherine and Alexis Hunter, Sonja Swenson and Daniel Swanson, Dierdra, Emilie, Joel, Joanna, Claire and Reed Parker, for whom she prayed daily, along with their spouses and her soon-to-be 49 great-grandchildren.

She was proud to be a farmer's wife and more, working at Ochs Department Store for many years. One of her greatest joys was her faith demonstrated by serving her church, the First Baptist Church of Faribault, and First Baptist Church of Morristown, where she taught Sunday school for more than 30 years and held various offices, as well as hosting the Women's Missionary Circle. She tirelessly shared her love of God by reminding all that He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. God in his sovereign mercy gave her to us to teach us to Praise the Lord, which she did daily.

Wanda was born April 9, 1919, and was preceded in death by her husband Frederick, parents Lynn and Edna (Aldrich) Mohler, siblings Merle, Harold, Edna, Herb, Durward, Verna and twin sister Juanita. She is also survived by her brother Richard Mohler of Texas.

Wanda and her twin Juanita Mohler Neubert were 2 of 3 sisters that I had that were younger then I at 3 years old when they were born at Traer, IA. Both girls married Christian husbands. I was the preacher that married them in the late 1930's. They always talked of God's love. I am so pleased that the twins had so many grand- children that came to love the Christ. I loved her so and will miss our weekly talks deeply.

I so very much enjoyed the visits that Mrs. Wanda made to Clayton NC to visit her daughters and grandchildren. She always had an outstanding smile and eyes wide open to the comings and goings of the world. She even asked for me years ago to Cheryl, "where is that young lady neighbor that I enjoy talking with"? That neighbor was me. :) I know that Mrs. Wanda is singing her songs and dancing with Jesus. Oh what a glorious place she is indeed living eternally. God bless the family.

Shared times, shared memories, shared joys...these special things keep a loved one close. One glance at a plate of strawberry shortcake reminds me of your beautiful mother! May you all find comfort in knowing there are many of us who care about you and cherish memories of your mom.

Wanda's charming ways continued into her 90's. My memory of her is a day trip into the Metro area when she was the guest of her daughter, Janet Miller. Together and loving every minute of it, they were a mother-daughter duo engaged with each other, as well as others. Seated in the front seat of the coach, which had been reserved for them, they greeted all who came on board, setting a warm and welcoming ambiance. Wanda rests in peace.
