Memorial Service: The Boldt Funeral Home ~ Faribault
  Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home ~ Faribault on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m.
  and also for one half hour prior to the services on Tuesday.


Barbara Ann Wolf, age 85, of Faribault, died on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Pleasant Manor, Faribault.

Memorial services will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Jan Bodin officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and also for one half hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Barbara Ann, the daughter of Phillip and Cecelia (Rosener) Nelson, was born on September 21, 1928 in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1946. She married Robert H. Wolf on June 12, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2000. Barbara was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. Many years ago, she made the uniforms for the wooden soldiers at St. Mary's Hall, Faribault, with her mother in law, Hattie Hedwig Wolf.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (and Sonny) Zabel of Faribault; one grandson, Troy; two great grandsons, Mitchell and Brandon; six siblings, Charles (and Shirley) Nelson of Faribault, Jeanette Nelson of Faribault, Sandra (and Babe) Low of Faribault, Carol (and Larry) Meyer of Faribault, David (and Dorothy) Nelson of Appleton, WI, and Douglas (and Debra) Nelson of Faribault; two sisters in law, Dee Nelson of Milwaukee, WI and Darlene Nelson of Mason City, IA; one brother in law, Leonard Chesney of Appleton, WI; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; two sisters, Delores Chesney and Phyllis (and George) Motylinski; two brothers, Allan Nelson and Donald E. Nelson; and one sister in law, Marion (and Wilferd) Radke.

Barbara's family would like to give a special thanks to Pleasant Manor and Faribault Area Hospice for all their loving care and compassion.

My favorite memories of Aunt Barb are riding in her convertible & she ALWAYS had Juicy Fruit gum in her purse to share! She will be missed! I'm sorry that I will be unable to attend her funeral! My condolences to Lynn & Troy!
