EDGAR H. TESCHKE

Services: Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault
  Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
   
Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault
  Friday, December 5th from 4 to 7 p.m.

Edgar H. Teschke, age 84 of Faribault died on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault with the Reverend Dr. Michael Nirva, officiating. Interment will be held in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault with military rites provided by Rice County Central Veterans Association.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Saturday.

Edgar Herman, the son of Herman and Bernice (White) Teschke was born in Morristown. Edgar graduated from Morristown High School in 1948 and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict in Germany from 1951 to 1953. He married Jane L. Velzke June 17, 1961 in Faribault. Edgar worked at the USDA Soil Conservation Service as a Certified Civil Engineering Technician from 1953 to 1986.

He is survived by his wife, Jane of Faribault; son, Daniel of Minneapolis; daughter, Paula (and Bill) Hicks of Eden Prairie; granddaughters, Katie and Sarah Hicks; other relatives include nieces, Ruthie (Bruce) Birch, Marilynn (Dan) Kimble and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig in 2013; sisters, Donna Hansa and Phyllis Lano.
