Memories

Thoughts to the family of Shirlee at this time. So sorry to hear of your loss. Shirlee was my next door neighbor when I grew up on 3rd Street in Faribault. I always remember Shirlee's magnificent garden that I could look down upon from my upstairs window. What a beautiful sight! There were flowers blooming through every season, so lovely! She always remembered my birthday and brought over a card with one of the flowers. Shirlee will be missed!

Memories

It was my pleasure to know and work with Shirlee and her family. She was a very special lady that was always eager to learn and expand her horizons. She had a very good gift of volunteering and giving back to the community. She made a point to get to know everyone that crossed her path and she always left a good imprint. She will be sorely missed by all. Rest in peace, Shirlee. Michael Grinney

Memories

Shirlee has been a wonderful friend for many years, beginning with our mutual involvement with the Faribault Art Center. I can't recall a single one of my art shows, concerts, or wood carving festivals that she didn't attend and stop to personally express her support. Add to that the pleasure of having her talented children in my classroom--and son Doug on the bandstand, Shirlee has added a richness to my life that I will always treasure. Ivan Whillock
