Gerald "Koke" Kokoschke, age 76 of Morristown, died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Michael Schuette officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.

Visitation will be held at the church from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Gerald, the son of Gerhardt J. and Mildred L. (Poehler) Kokoschke was born on July 30, 1938 in Morristown. He married Erlene Nelson on June 1, 1963 in Northfield; she preceded him in death on June 24, 1983. He was formerly employed by Morristown Creamery and Four County Ag Services, both of Morristown for over 30 years. He served during the Korean Conflict in the Minnesota National Guard. He owned and operated Koke's Place and Koke's Produce in Morristown for many years and he was known for his sweet corn. He was a former member of Morristown Fire Department for 20 years and also of the American Legion Post #149, Morristown. He loved spending time with his family; fishing; hunting; cooking and catering for others; gardening; and playing cards.

He is survived by three children, Sandy (and Randy) Preuss of Waterville, Sherri (and special friend, Jason Roemhildt) of Morristown and Scott (and Angie) Kokoschke of Morristown; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette (and Gary) Stiller of Waseca and Ruth (and Ron) Pinc of Michigan; and special friend, Pat O'Brien of Morristown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Erlene.
