When my family moved to Faribault in about 1947 we had the good fortune to be neighbors to the Ed and Eleanor Hughes family. They were a beautiful couple and Jim was my dear little playmate . Whenever Ed came home she greeted with a kiss . They are a special memory to me and fun to see all those little Hughes kids that came along later . May the family feel at peace about this time and that they are together now .
