To Brandon's parents, Brandon and our son Darrin Larson both graduated from Northfield..Darrin was 2009, Daughter Justine 2006. I'm not sure what to say or how to really comfort you, but I'm praying the Lord will hold you close in His arms today. Grief is very difficult. Many emotions all colliding We also have had a child die...13 years ago. We also pray that this STORM of LIFE/trial will drive you into the arms of the ALL KNOWING GOD--the ONE TRUE GOD! 1Peter 1:6-7 Matthew 7:25 "The rain came down and the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall, because it has its foundation on the ROCK" When all other ground is sinking sand, but your feet on the ROCK...the solid foundation. If you don't have a bible teaching church to support you in your area...may I suggest a dramatized audio bible..and some really solid online teaching our church is online at www.therealtreechurch.org and another I highly recommend is www.gty.org I pray that you will be blesses at this VERY difficult time. It is so easy to smile when I think of Brandon. I had the pleasure of meeting him via his friendship with my daughter. My impression was always the same, what a great young man. My favorite memory is the night Brandon and my daughter celebrated their birthdays together. They had extensive speaker system set up for the party. As storms started to move in and it started to rain very hard, the conversation turned to the safety of the speakers getting wet. Well no-one would do anything EXCEPT Brandon. He pulled his shirt off and went to work, making sure the speakers remained dry...and the entire time had a smile on his face! I cannot even begin to rationalize this tragedy but one thing I know for sure...I am SO glad I had the pleasure to know this impressive young man. I will always smile when I think of Brandon.
