DUWAYNE VORACEK

DuWayne Voracek, age 52, of Kenyon and formerly of Faribault died on Friday, January 17, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault, officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault with military rites provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Association, Faribault.

Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.

DuWayne Allan, the son of James J. and Gloria J. (Herrley) Voracek was born on September 10, 1961 in Faribault. He attended Northfield High School and served in the U. S. Army. He was formerly employed and farmed in the Dennison and Kenyon area.

He is survived by his father, James Voracek of Faribault; six siblings, Jean (and Scott) Peterson of Wanamingo, James Voracek, III of Faribault, Benjamin Voracek of Kenyon, David Voracek of Kenyon, Darren Voracek of Faribault and Dale Voracek of Faribault; nieces; and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria.

Memories

I haven't seen Dewey in quite a few years but I will always remember his silly grin and great sense of humor. He always seemed to have a bit of mischief about him. My sympathy to you all. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
