Auntie Eileen, I was so very sad to hear about Uncle George's passing. He was a true fighter and a very great man. He will be missed by so many, and my dad following so closely I think really shows their bond. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dawn, Paul and family- I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Mr. Torbert, but remember meeting your folks at an evening band concert in Melgaard Park one time after you had moved away. I remember how happy your beautiful family seemed and how proud your folks seemed of their grandkids. I can still picture that memory in my mind...I'm certain you have many wonderful memories over the years. I hope they are of comfort at this difficult time. Sending prayers.

I have fond memories of George and your family. From your time living next-door to the Nevills, his time a Sears, his wonderful work at The Brown County Court House, and your new home on South 6th street. Seems like I ran into him often back then. I believe he had 83 good years (with a few hard times) and that really is all we can hope for. I will include him, you, and yours in my prayers. With my thoughts and prayers, Dave Brown
