Memories

Lila, Mary, Steve and to the rest of the Scholtes family, I want to express my sincere sorrow for the passing of Bob. I stopped by and visited with your father briefly 2 1/2 years ago. I like to drive past their place when I come to Faribault. I have such fond memories of being out their with Jim and with Dean. Your father and mother were always so friendly and caring. I knew that I was always welcomed in their home. I got the impression that they found the mischief that Jim, Dean and I were involved in was humorous. Your father called the 3 of us the Three Musketeers. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend his funeral. I want to so much for many reasons. I know that Jim's spirit will be present and the Three Musketeers would be together to support the family as we say good bye to Bob. God's Peace to you all, Allan Mortenson

Memories

Robert was the first man I spoke to about joining the US Navy. I spoke to Robert when I was a senior in high school (1963). I was so interested in joining the US Navy that Robert guided me as I graduated to join. I have thanked Robert a number of times over the past many years for guiding me in that direction. I was a Hospital Corpsman in the USN and the Hospital Corp turned the lights on for me to stay in the medical field. I spent 44 plus years in the field of professional nursing and I thank Robert again for guiding me in that direction. From my wife and family I want to send to Mary and her family our prayers and thoughts in this time of loss. God Bless You Bob. Jack and Jackie Luedke 23431 Falls Ave Warsaw Mn 55087

Memories

We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, he was a great and caring person. We got to know the family through their son Jim, he, Dean Wolf and our son Allan Mortenson were best friends. The three guys were the greatest and spent lots of time at our home and of course at Wolf's and Scholte's also. Jim and I would go to auctions together as we both loved antiques. Again you all have our love and sympathy. God Bless. Carl and Jeanie
