MARY V. MANAHAN

Mary V. Manahan, age 98, of Faribault, died on Friday, April 4, 2014 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3rd Ave. SW and Division St., Faribault, on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. with the Reverend Kevin Finnegan and the Reverend Erik Lundgren officiating.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held for one half hour prior to the service at the church.

Mary V., the daughter of Charles P. and Mary Elizabeth (Dwyer) Manahan, was born on December 4, 1915 in Faribault.  She attended rural public school, Immaculate Conception School, Bethlehem Academy and she also attended cosmetology school.  Mary and her twin sister, Mildred took great pride in dressing exactly alike and enjoyed being twins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings, Charles, Jr., John, William, Francis, Irene Parcher, George, Raymond, Isadore, Helen Fitcha, Leonard and her twin sister, Mildred.

Memories

Mary was a room mate of my mother Cordula Bahe for 20 months. she was a good room mate to mom and even though she was not fully cognizant of all that had happened to her sister she was non the less a nice woman. I am sorry for the way her life ended but glad that she is free at last to be whole once again with God in heaven...
