Service: First English Lutheran Church - Faribault
  Saturday, May 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
   
Visitation: At the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday
   

Ronald T. Dusbabek, age 89, of Faribault, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Faribault Senior Living.

Memorial services will be at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Mark Johnson, officiating. Interment will be a Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault at a later date.

A memorial visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Ronald T., the son of Walter and Ruth (Harger) Dusbabek was born on July 9, 1924 in Faribault. He graduated from Faribault High School in 1942 and then he enlisted in the U. S. Navy during W. W. II. After returning from the war he attended Dunwoody Institute and Minnesota School of Business. He married Arlene Ellerbusch on May 20, 1950 in Faribault. He was formerly employed as a butter maker for Rice County Dairy; truck driver for Land O' Lakes; and a jobber for the Standard Oil Company. Ron enjoyed golfing, fishing and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Arlene; two children, Cheryl (and Nicholas) Meyerhofer of Rimrock, Arizona and R. Thomas (and Pat) Dusbabek of Island Park, Idaho; his grandchildren, Peter (and Darci) Meyerhofer of Escondido, CA, Martin (and Amanda) Meyerhofer of Glendale, AZ, two great-grandchildren, Karsten and Greta Meyerhofer, nine siblings, Betty Lindeman of Palm Desert, CA, Katherine (and Norman) Francis of Owatonna, Shirley Cagle of Faribault, Richard (and Loretta) Dusbabek of Faribault, Robert (and Maxine) Dusbabek of Faribault, Edward (and Peggy) Dusbabek of Faribault, Charles (and Pat) Dusbabek of Colorado, Dennis Dusbabek of Fort Mohave, AZ and Carol (and Chuck) Beaupre of Isle; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Alfred Dusbabek and Donna Daniels.
