Glenn R. Borgstahl, age 80, of Faribault, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.

A memorial service will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Steven M. Jones, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, officiating.

A memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Boldt Funeral Home.

Glenn R., the son of Gerhardt and Esther (Meinke) Borgstahl, was born on April 16, 1934 in Webster. He graduated from Faribault High School and was a mechanic all of his life, retiring from Crown, Cork & Seal in 1999. Glenn married Patricia Low on September 26, 1970 in Prior Lake. He loved fishing and hunting and especially being Penny's right hand man at West Lawn Farm. Glenn was always working with his engineering mind and creative hands.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; three children, Jeanine (and Bruce) Campbell of Trempealeau, WI, Penny (and Jim) Gute of Faribault and Cary (and Kathy) Andersen of Faribault; nine grandchildren, Jodi (and Dan) Scholer, Tami (and Ryan) Bauer, James and Jessa Gute, Haley and Jackson Andersen, Stacey Jensen, and Steven and Brian Borgstahl; several great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (and Mary) Borgstahl of Slayton; his "Little Girl Gracie" the dog; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Daniel and Glenn A. Borgstahl; and three siblings, Gerald Borgstahl, Grace Tradup and David Borgstahl.
