Memories

Don was a good neighbor to our family for many years and a friend as well. He would always come over to talk when we fished at the bridge and always had a smile when I'd stop in to visit. He really enjoyed the pears from my tree's and it seemed like it took very little to make him happy. Another of a great generation has left us. Here's to you my friend.

Memories

I am so sorry to read that my good friend, Don, recently passed away. I am out of the country but feel saddened just the same in pause. I enjoyed stopping in to take a break from my bike ride for some long talks with Don and Ellen. I enjoyed Don's perspective and positive attitude and his loving care of Ellen and his campers. He showed me more than once his wounds from his proud service to our country during the Korean Conflict. I know he was proud of his immediate and extended family. What a Great Guy with many memories of a full life. Dick Cook

Memories

We are so sorry for the loss of Don. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Kent & I have been campers at Willing campground for 19 years. We have many wonderful memories from the past summers. We will miss Don and have missed Ellen very much. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet. We will miss playing cards and having our Christmas in October party in the shelter. Having fun around the campfires with our dear friends and all of the wonderful weekends that we have spent there.
