Memories

I am saddened to hear of Betty's death at much too young an age. She was always so kind, gentle, soft spoken, and loving to everyone. She took a genuine interest in the lives of those she met. We had great fun at family reunions, too. She will be greatly missed. You all have my deepest sympathy. Jackie--I'm so sorry I cannot be there for the funeral.

Memories

Mrs. Velzke was my kindergarten teacher in 1973. She was a wonderful teacher and an awesome lady. I've been blessed to know her. She started me on a path to life-long learning and for that I am thankful. God be with the family as you go through this loss. Know God took her home and we will again see her at the Resurrection.

My memories of Betty Velzke will be knowing her as a woman never hesitating to live her life or give advise as God's witness to those around her and those to whom she served or to the groups over which she presided. Thanks be to God for Betty!
