I am a retired MN Conservation Officer living in Red Wing, MN. I had the opportunity to work with Dick starting in my first year as a "Game Warden". To say Officer Remmey taught me the ropes would be an understatement. I worked with Dick many times in the Faribault area and he kept me out of trouble and taught me how to do the job the way he thought it should be done. We always worked hard and took great pride in the work we were doing. I couldn't have asked for a better role model in my early years. We had some great times with work parties involving many officers. Faribault is a busy and big station for a game warden and Dick was the man for the job. It was my pleasure to have served with him. My sincere condolences to the family.
