Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault
  Monday, may 20th from 4 to 7 p.m.

Warren F. Schmidt, age 77 of Faribault died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault with the Reverend Robert Mundahl officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Warren Ferdinand, the son of Herman and Frieda (Braun) Schmidt was born on August 9, 1935 in Faribault. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Dienst on June 21, 1959 at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault.

He worked for the MN State Academy for the Deaf, Sheldahl, he was also a Siding Contractor with his brother, Rick. He later worked at Genova, OTC, McDonough Trucking, and was a bus driver for Faribault Transportation.

Warren is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanette; four children, Mark Schmidt, Marlene Becker, Paul (and Cindy) Schmidt, and Pam Schmidt all of Faribault; five grandchildren, Samantha and Bobbi Schmidt, Molly and Brady Schmidt, and Amelia Thompson; siblings, Roger (and Ann) Schmidt of New Brighton, Rachel Jordahl of Clear Lake, Celeste Carlson of WI, Richard "Rick" (and Gerry) Schmidt of Lakeville, Curt Schmidt of Melbourne, FL and Sharon (and Charles) Rosen of Welcome.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
