Memories

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of James. I personally never knew him but was driving on Cedar Ave soon after the accident and come from a family of motorcycle riders. I have felt compelled to share a comforting thought with the friends and family that has helped me . In Revelation 21:3,4 Jehovah God promises us all a time soon when death will be done away with. Soon we all will have the opportunity to live forever on earth in perfect conditions as was originally intended. No more will there be sickness, pain, old age and death. This has helped comfort me and provide hope of a better time in the future with the prospect of seeing my loved ones again. Death is a very hard thing to experience but I wish all to know that you are not alone . My thoughts and prayers to all.

Memories

He was extremely smart! I will miss him. In this world he had the ability to solve issues quickly. He will be back to solve them again. I (like many) who have worked with James, and so realize his brilliance that I refuse to believe that he has been taken from us. He will live on in everyone that he has touched. My name is Steve Byro, and I am proud to have worked with James Batten.

Memories

We got to know James through our sons Brandt (Chile) and Erik (Fro). He would come over to hang out with the boys and spend lots of time in the kitchen or living room talking to Warren about Model T's, tractors, or machinery of any type. He was full of questions and knowledge and fun to talk with. He will be missed by all but is in a good place in Heaven playing with machines and tools
