Bernice M. (Mrs. Francis) Hamele, age 87, of Faribault, died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

Services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. Armand J. Boehme officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Bernice M., the daughter of Charles F. and Meta (Hagel) Zimmerman, was born on May 13, 1925 in Morristown. She married Francis Pemrick on January 24, 1951 and he preceded her in death on August 19, 1974. Later she married Francis Hamele on October 23, 1976. She was formerly employed by the State Academies for the Blind and Deaf and later at the Faribo Woolen Mill Company for 28 years. Bernice's favorite pastime was painting her Old World Santas.

She is survived by her husband, Francis; one son, Duane (and Helen) Pemrick of Faribault; one step daughter, Gail Cloutier of Alexandria; two grandsons, David and Shane (and Dana) Pemrick; one step grandson, Chad Cloutier; two great grandchildren, Amelia and Grady Pemrick; one sister in law, Laura Zimmerman of Morristown; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Francis Pemrick; one son, David Pemrick; five siblings, Irene (and Walter) Zitzmann, Odessa (and Leonard) Schlossin, Melvin Zimmerman, and two sisters in infancy, Rosella and Regina Zimmerman.
