Memories

Our heartfelt sympathy to all the Steinhaus families. Even though we met her briefly on June 23rd. of 2012, we could see the wonderful sweet gentle spirit about her. What a joy it was that she was able to be here for Rachel and Addison's wedding this past summer. We know it is difficult to lose a family member you love so deeply. Take comfort in knowing that God's grace is sufficient and may He give each and everyone of you comfort and peace in the days and weeks ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Memories

Although I only knew Mrs. Steinhaus for a relatively short time, it was a blessing to have known her. She was a kind and gracious person. Her smile and greeting was enough to brighten one's day. Her sweet spirit brought encouragement and joy to many. Mrs. Helen Steinhaus was an example of a godly, Christian lady. May others follow in her footsteps. It was a privilege and blessing to have known her. May God comfort the hearts of her family and friends with His love and the many good memories of Mrs. Steinhaus.

Memories

I remember enjoying several wonderful meals and fellowship at the Steinhaus home. She was a wonderful cook and hostess. I am sure that our limited visits and enjoyable times in their home are merely snapshots of her life as a humble servant of others. Some people serve because they have to or to be seen by others. With Mrs. Steinhaus it was obvious to us that she served because she had a deep love for God and for others. So glad she is finished with her pain and suffering here and with the Lord where she will continually be able to love him and serve without limitations of her earthly body. We'll see you again Mrs. Steinhaus!!

Memories

Sarah, You and your family continue to be the center of my thoughts and prayers. I know you are going through a very difficult time right now and I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and give you the comfort and peace that only He can give during this time. Your mom was a very nice Christian lady and I always enjoyed seeing her and talking with her when I would come over for piano lessons. I know she leaves behind a great legacy and although I know the days ahead will be extremely hard, I hope you will soon take comfort in the many, wonderful memories you had with her. I was reminded of a song the other day when you informed me that your mother had passed away. It is called "If You Could See Me Now". It goes: If you could see me now, I'm walking streets of gold. If you could see me now, I'm standing tall and whole. If you could see me now, you'd know I'd seen His face. If you could see me now, you'd know the pain is erased. You would never want me to leave this perfect place. Oh, if you could only see me now! I have no doubt in my mind that is what your mom is experiencing right now and that is what she would say to you. I know you and your family will miss her terribly, but you can take comfort in knowing that you will see her again one day. Until then, I know she will be watching over you. My love, prayers, thoughts, and support are with all of you now and the days to come. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything at all.

Memories

So sorry about Mrs. Steinhaus. She was my brother's mother in law. Even though, I didn't have much contact with her, she and Mr. Steinhaus came to visit us once in Murfreesboro, TN where we worked at a children's home. They were just passing by, but I remember they wanted to help out while they were there and she helped in the kitchen. She was very encouraging.I know her grandkids always enjoyed visiting her and their grandpa. When I talked with her I could see a lot of mannerisms that Jane has picked up from her.:)We are praying for the family.

This is always a bittersweet time for us Christian; knowing a parent is in the presence of the Lord but gone from us! So thankful for all the years of faithful ministries and the blessed opportunity to be in some of those ministries with your parents and family. Memories

I remember as a boy when the Steinhaus' would take care of my sister and I when we would ride to Menomonie, WI to go to the Christian school there. Mrs. Steinhaus was always nice to me. I also remember that they were good friends of my parents (Don & Linda Anderson) and that my mom would always "nag" my dad to go and visit the Steinhaus'. May the Lord be with you during this time and give you comfort that only He can. Ken Anderson Murfreesboro, TN

Memories

To the Steinhaus Family: I just heard about your mom. I am so sorry and I want you to know we are thinking of you and what you and your family must be going through right now. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. Although I was young when I knew your mother, I still have memories from childhood that have kept me smiling through the years. I am sorry I won't be able to make it to the funeral to convey my condolences in person but I wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during the time. Melanie Utah
