Memories

I have worked in the health care industry for almost 30 years. I never met anyone quite like LUCKY. He was very expressive in his thoughts. He was always very concerned about the other residents in the Faribault Care Center. His heart was always in the right place towards the friends and family that took an active roll in his life. One time he spoke of a woman, a one true love in his life his eyes lit up like christmas trees. He loved to have his hair braided or was it just a little needed TLC. He seemed at times a ittle lonely as if he missed somone that he could'nt talk about. One time he made me a dream catcher. I was not able to accept gifts but he would have not stood for that. Some of the nursing staff was able to enjoy is art craft in the med room as that is where the dreamcatcher was kept. I always called him by his given name. " Christopher, If you are in heaven. I hope you can find the peace that you longed for. Had I known you passed away I would have been there. I was not able to keep in touch with you outside of work for ethical reasons. But you were always intertaining. I hope you are at peace now. God Bless You

Memories

I came to know Lucky while he lived at the Faribault Care Center. He always had a kindly word for my mother, with whom he shared a deep interest in the Native American culture. He was quite the raconteur, and often related stories of his exploits as a long distance semi driver and of his life in general. Lucky was a good-hearted man, and a friend. He shall be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of my very good friend's death. To Lucky: You had such great dreams for the future, and regardless of your physical struggles, you were forging ahead with all the determination, vigor and attitude that was your fire! I'm sure there are buffalo in heaven, my friend. As he always said, "If you don't know me as Lucky, then you don't know me!" To Lucky's family, my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Chris - We are saddened to learn of your untimely passing. We have enjoyed spending time with you over the years. The stained glass kitchen cabinet windows that you made for us will always be a reminder of "you" and your expertise. You have experienced much pain over the years and we feel that God called you "home" to rest and be at peace. Know that we are all God's children and when we leave this world, He promises us eternal life with Him. We will miss you! With love, Roger and Judy

Memories

It was a true pleaseure to have know Chris "Lucky". I was able to work with Chris many years ago when he was recovering from surgery on his leg. Though the treatments were lenghty, he always tried to keep his spirits up. He also blessed my daughters; MiKayla and Megan, with patience and understanding. He was very good at teaching, and was able to connect them with nature. He had endured many trials in his time on earth and now is able to rest. My deepest sympathy to each of you. Tonya Miller
