Memories

My thoughts and prayers go out to Netha's family and I wish you peace at this time. Netha was an amazing Lady as you already know. We became friends when she came to Faribault. I was immediately drawn to her "Can do" attitude. At 97 she taught me to crochet which she loved. She would tell me stories of her amazing life-time, her travels during the Depression and the many things she saw, people she met. She loved animals, I'm happy to say she received her last "puppy kisses" shortly before she left us. She always said if you had a love for animals, you were ok! Netha said it like it was, called me "Kid" which somehow made me feel younger and enjoyed beating me at cards! She will be missed, but not forgotten. Her faith wasn't spoken but she knew our Lord and now will dance in heaven. I am blessed to have met Netha, had her as my friend, will never forget her and one day will see her again.
