Kathy N. Crosby, age 67, of Faribault, died on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home with the Reverend Joanna Mitchell, pastor of Our Saviorís Lutheran Church, Faribault, officiating.

A memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Kathy N., the daughter of Jerome and Viola (Larson) Allen, was born on September 18, 1943 in Minneapolis. She grew up in Savage and graduated from Burnsville High School. She was employed by the Faribault Regional Center for 10 years and also by the VFW and the Elks Club, both of Faribault.

She is survived by a son, Emmett Crosby of Faribault; six siblings, Jerome (and Kathy) Allen of New Castle, WY, Nancy Fitzgerald of Minneapolis, Colleen Allen of Hutchinson, Janet Halladay of Melbourne, FL, Mike Allen of Sioux Falls, SD and Patty (and Curt) Wichman of Hutchinson; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; one sister, Linda Allen; and one brother, Joseph Allen.

In 1974,Butch and Buttons were at Janets house. That was the first time I met Butch, we were talking about Vietnam. I may have had a hand in Medvacing him out of Doung Ha.Buttons came around the corner and the whole room lite up.Her smile and her laugh was enough to light up the world.In the years to follow we all went are separate way, but the smile and laughter from her will always be with me.
