Harry H. Homeier, age 91 of Faribault, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Funeral Services will be at Bethel Ridge Church, Faribault on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Ronald Wik, officiating. Interment and military rites will be at Trondhjem Lutheran Cemetery, Lonsdale.

Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Harry Henry, the son of Herman and Hulda (Krakou) Homeier, was born August 28, 1919 in Wheeling Township, Rice County. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On August 21, 1947, he married Myrtle Halverson in Northfield. He owned and operated Kenyon Radio and TV and later Homeier Heating of Faribault. He was a member of VFW Post 141, Kenyon.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Myrtle; two sons, Glen Homeier of Faribault and Allen (and Karen) Homeier of Hudson, WI; one granddaughter, Joleen (and Steve) Carlson of Hudson, WI; and two brothers, Howard (and Vieno) Homeier of Kenyon and Luverne (and Betty) Homeier of Faribault.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harlan Homeier.
