Services: Trinity Lutheran Church, North Morristown
  Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault
  3 to 8 p.m. Friday and at church 1 hour prior to the service

Agatha H. (Mrs. Ewald) Schwichtenberg, age 91 of Morristown, died on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, North Morristown on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Merle Lebahn officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, December 16th from 3 to 8 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Agatha H., the daughter of Robert and Lydia (Youse) Schmidtke, was born April 3, 1920. She graduated from Morristown High School in 1938. Agatha married Ewald Schwichtenberg on September 15, 1938 in Morristown. She was a homemaker on their farm in the North Morristown area; she was a past leader of Golden Opportunity 4H; and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aide and Morristown Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one daughter, Cora Jean (and Jerry) Langeslag of Faribault; one son, Robert "Bob" (and Tammy) Schwichtenberg of Morristown; four grandchildren, Todd (and Julie) Langeslag of Faribault, Paula (and Chris) Meskan of Waterville, Rob (and Jessica) Schwichtenberg of Morristown; and Jodi (and Scott) Alwin of Milwaukee, WI; 14 great grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley and Haley Langeslag, Emily, Eryn, Jacob and Madeline Meskan, Spencer and Robynn Schwichtenberg, Tony Solis, Scott, Parker, Ella and Peyton Alwin; sister in law, Ordella (and William) Lybeck of St. Paul; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ewald; a son, Dale; two great grandchildren, Emma Alwin and Joshua Schwichtenberg; two sisters, Evelyn (and Loren) Wolter and Malitta (and Edgar) Schwichtenberg; farming partner, Herbert Schwichtenberg; and other brothers in law and sisters in law.
