Alice A. Sailor
Alice A. (Mrs. Edward) Sailor, age 90, of Faribault, died on Monday evening, February 21, 2011 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Craig Breimhorst officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.
Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday for one hour prior to the services.
Alice A., the daughter of Paul "Adolph" and Alma (Giese) O’Groske, was born on October 26, 1920 in Minnesota Lake. She married Edward Sailor on January 6, 1937 in Wells. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1987. They lived in the Easton and Delavan area. Alice’s sister Gladys owned a restaurant in Easton and she assisted her for many years. Alice loved to garden, spend time with her family, read and enjoyed going on walks.
She is survived by her two children, Lori Mach of Faribault and Jerry (and Robyn) Sailor of Faribault; three grandchildren, Rachel (and Dusty) Cline, Dani Jo Rodewald and Nathan Sailor; and one great granddaughter, Viviahna Cline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; one son, Edwin; one son in law, Ron Mach; two brothers; four sisters; and many other relatives.

So sorry to hear Lori, Jerry and family. I dont know if you remember me ( thinking you will ) I was your moms neighbor at 1222 NW 2nd Ave. We did the flowers around the house and sat at the picnic table in front. She was great lady !! You got my sympathy for your loss. She'll always be remembered.

Grandma alice was the best grandma that i could ever had asked for. she took care of me most of my life and i cherish every memory that i have had with her. it brings great pain tomy heart to lose her, but this was the best for her, hqaving alzheimers and being very ill i am glad that she has passed and is in heaven with her beloved husband and one son that has passed as well. grandma will be deeply missed. love you with all my heart family of mine and grams. xoxo Dani
