I would like to express my sympathy to Gene's family. I had the pleasure of cutting your Dad's hair for 20 years and always enjoyed visiting with him. Gene was always kind, generous and willing to share great stories and tips on life.. " Money for kids shoes," he would say every time as he handed me his money, then laugh. I have 2 grown children now but he always included the shoe tip. I will miss him. He was very proud of his children and talked about you all often. Sorry for our loss. I am not able to attend the service but wanted you all to know how special Gene was to me. May he rest in peace.

I knew Gene for more that 30 years and I enjoyed his company and conversation often. We used to get together and talk or go out to eat about every 6 months. He was a super nice man and a true gentleman. It was my privilege to have known and worked with him. I am sorry he has passed and I know he will be missed by many including me. May God bless all of you he left behind.
