Weldon H. Reineke, age 89, of Faribault, died Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Faribault with the Reverend Dennis R. Tamke, officiating. Interment will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.

Weldon H., the son of Alfred and Edna (Rehnke) Reineke was born on December 16, 1921 in Blooming Grove Township, Waseca County. He graduated from Morristown High School and attended Hamline University and Mankato State Business College. He married Gayle C. Anderson on January 7, 1951 in Faribault. He was employed by Norwest Bank until his retirement in 1983. Weldon enjoyed his children and their families. His hobbies included photography, his nightly cribbage game with Gayle, gardening and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle; three children, David Reineke of Austin, TX, James (and June) Reineke of Winona and Kristin (and Gary) Cramer of Faribault; six grandchildren, Lauren Reineke, Michael Valentine, Caitlin Reineke, Bekka Reineke, Loni (and Mark) Streefland, Meghan (and Andy) Ernste; one step granddaughter, Ane (and Gary) Mentz of Faribault; five great grandchildren, Riley & Olivia Streefland, Preston, Natalie & Ethan Ernste; three step great grandchildren, Brandon McCarty, Emma & Sophia Mentz.

Weldon was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Kenneth Reineke.
