We have many wonderful memories of Marguerite. Even at the risk of forgetting some of them, we want to share the following: For First Baptist Church, she designed many floats for local parades -- what a talent!!! She often carefully decorated various areas of the church, including the communion table -- all so gorgeous!! She and Richard welcomed us to their sweet corn "field" -- don't know if we have ever had as good sweet corn since!! With determination, she accompanied me (Judy) to a MN quilt show at the Art Museum in Mpls. in 1988. We both discovered how great it was to have a hobby in common. She often she shared her sewing and quilt ideas and accomplishments with me. I loved to hear her tell of her background and detail the loom she cherished from Sweden. Just last October 2010, she made the effort to join me at a local restaurant when I was visiting in Faribault -- she had driven herself there -- and came with her beautiful smile. It is a memory I will cherish. We thank God for Marguerite, a true lady whose love for the Lord brought strength, support and courage so obvious in her smile. I have known Marguerette for a short time but she was a very kind and loving lady. We had some good times together. She was proud of your homes. When I would do a little extra she would always give me a jar of her jelly or jams they were delicious. She amazed me of her talents that she still did.I will miss her very much. Also I want to Thank you family for letting me come into her home and clean. You are a lucky family to have had Marguette as a mother. God Bless!
