GARLAND H. LEE

Garland H. Lee, age 93, of Cedar died on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at District One Hospital, Faribault.

Services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Cedar United Methodist Church, Ham Lake. Interment and military rites will be at Cedar Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the church for one hour prior to the services on Friday.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Garland H., the son of Homer A. and Cora (Hollett) Lee was born on May 27, 1918 in Cedar. He married Marjorie L. Larson on July 8, 1944. Garland served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He was employed by Federal Cartridge in Anoka for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; three children, David (and Judy) Lee of Faribault, Donna (and Jim) Rieser of Racine, WI and Dick (and Ann) Lee of Ames, IA; six grandchildren, Alison (and Kasher Asdi) Lee, Andrea (and Jeff Johnson) Lee, Adrienne Lee, Scott Rieser, James Rieser II, Brandon Lee; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grand-daughter, Kristin Rieser; one sister, Alice Morton; two brothers, Russell Lee and Homer Lee, Jr. in infancy.
