Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault
  Monday, November 14th from 4-8 p.m.

Dale H. Hundt, age 57, of Faribault, died on Friday, November 11, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at Our Saviorís Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. A second service will be held in Canby and interment will be at St. Stephenís Cemetery, Canby.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.

Dale Herman, the son of Ervin and Henrietta (Gilb) Hundt, was born on September 13, 1954 in Canby. He graduated from Canby High School in 1972 and from Canby Vocational School as a diesel mechanic. He was previously married to Michele Juvland in 1975. Later he married Ann Tatge on May 30, 1985 and she preceded him in death on June 7, 1993. He then married Edith Ann Wolter on April 22, 1995. Dale was employed by Malt-O-Meal of Northfield for 26 years and became the senior team member for packaging. He also worked for Matejcek Implement for six years as a machinery mechanic. Dale loved his old western movies and music and spending time with his sons, his granddaughter, Angelina and their families. He also enjoyed taking trips with his mother and any kind of farm work that he could help with.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald Ervin (and Melanie) Hundt of Faribault and Thomas Dale (and Emily) Hundt of Dubuque, IA; one granddaughter, Angelina; his mother, Henrietta Hundt of Canby; three siblings, Daniel (and Kathy) Hundt of Minneapolis, John (and Linda) Hundt of Idaho and Jane (and Larry) Carr of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Jerome; and his second wife, Ann.
