Memories

Unfortunately it had been a few years since I had last seen Jackie, but in my heart resides a memory of a beautifully spirited young woman with a strong passion for animals, a bright smile, a warm laugh and a strong sense to add "rightness" to the world. She was a defender of the underdog and had such a strong passion for a animals. I am saddened by her passing and pray for peace and blessings to her loved ones and family members through this difficult time. Peace be with you. ~Angela

Memories

Jackie and my daughter Tara were very close personal friends. She loved horses, dogs, and cats, as did my daughter. There was a time when my horse was to be sold and Jackie went along to see that the horse would have a good home. Tara`s and Jackie`s horse`s were both shot by a irresponsible hunter on the same day by LaCannes resort,in a corral by the house. Taras show horse did not live, while Jackies did. Jackie, Tara cried together that day, as did the two deputies and the vet. The hunter went free. Maybe now Jackie can haunt him, although he deserves far worse. Jackie also tried Al-anon because of the drinking habits of the man she was seeing at the time. It did give her some of her sanity back. I loved Jackie as I would love my own daughter. Together they decorated my Caddy when I was married the second time. God, has her now, may he hold her in his arms until we get there. Rick.

Memories

Jackie is and always will be, a hero! She fought a good battle and she "Lived"!! I will never forget the times she & Whitey came out to my parents' place when we were younger, how we played together & made a promise that someday we'd own really nice horses and we'd go on trail rides together...we never got to do that because I couldn't afford to keep my horse, but I still remember those times! I hope everyone can cherish the good times with Jackie, as I'm sure she would want you to! My deepest sympathy to the whole family, you all will be in my thoughts & prayers! RIP Jackie, your a beautiful Angel now!!!
