Memories

Friday will be 6 mos since we got the dreadful news of Mike's death. I am still in shock, I come back to this site often to see his picture and read his obituary. He was such a best friend to everyone, I don't think Troy or I have ever had a couple that meant as much to us as Mike & Keri did. I don't think there's a weekend that has gone by that Troy & I have not thought about Mike. From us going camping, hanging out in the garage with friends, singing karaoke, to just daily life such as a haircut (Mike always complimented Troy on his new haircuts). Mike taught me so much about the love and history of music, he enlightened me to explore new styles of music and many nights told me stories of the various artists we would listen to and what his vision of every song was. I'll never forget the songs by Jackson Browne, Mike...I hear them now and tear up. I hope that you are feeling my words that are written here and knowing how much you meant to both Troy & I and how much of an impact you made in my life. You came into my life at a perfect time to begin raising our daughters together, ha ha remember sitting in the garage envisioning Teagan & Olivia when they are teenagers or how about what they will be like at are our age, fun times. I feel so fortunate that we got to share our families for the times that we did. I will alwasy cherish the times we had together, Mike, as will Troy. May you Rest In Peace forever, and keep watch on all of your loved ones as their angel.

Trevor and Keri, I work with Trevor at Immedia. I want to pass on my sincere condolences. Anytime something like this happens, we all wonder why. We never know why; but we do know that in times like these, is a reason the lord gives us loving friends and family. Keri and family, I am sure you have many great memories of Mike. I hope those great memories slowly replace the sorrow you feel with each passing day. Sincerely, Tim Goserud

Like I said on Facebook.... I will never forget the day at Valleyfair when Mike said "Missy, I'm going to marry that girl" we all laughed and told him he was crazy. Keri was "out of his League". He kept beggin... Please just get her to go out with me one date! Well, his persistance paid off :) What an amazing Legacy Mike has left of Faithfullness, Committment and, Character beyond description! He had a life that many would Envy... Absolute True Love, Being a Dad like none other, the millions of smiles, laughter & joy he brought to SO MANY lives. Simply AMAZING! I can't even being to imagine the tremendous loss and pain that his family is feeling. At some point these memories and his Legacy will hopefully bring you all comfort and joy in knowing how blessed we all were to have him in our lives.

Memories

I met Mike 22 years ago. He use to come into South Side Liquor when I worked there to wait for Jr to get done working. There was probably a party some where. I can pitcure him just like it was yesterday, half sitting on the counter and the blonde mullet haircut everyone had back then. What I'll remember about Mike is the friendliness he showed by always waving when we drove by or he came up to turn the motorhome around. He looked relaxed being out in the garage with his Tv on the doors open.

Memories

Mike, have I told you lately that I love you? His comment was always, "No, but you can tell me now" Keri, I can't even imagine work without Mike's smile radiating on the show floor as his singing floods the room, and his quick wit keeps us all on our toes! It just will never be the same again. My heart truly breaks for you and the kids, I know Mike adored you, "his beautiful wife" and cherished Spence and Olivia beyond imagination. Actually my heart breaks for all of us who have had the wonderful privilege of having Mike in our lives. This world will be missing a truly amazing person for many, many years to come:( God Bless you Micheal:''(
