Memories

Cindy and family: I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your family. Your parents and mine had some great times together. I remember playing at the furniture store when mom helped out there, I thought that was something really special. What lovely people they were. You have my deepest sympathy. Even when we know they are in a better place, and together again; it hard to lose them and even at our age become an orphan. Lu Ann (Meyer) Haugen

Memories

Dear Family of Dick Shuler: We were saddened to hear of the passing of Dick Shuler -- your dear Dad, Father-in-law, Grandpa, sibling, mentor, and very special friend to many. The memories we have of him and his faithfulness in the ministries and work of First Baptist Church will never be forgotten. He was so very willing to do all he could -- One special memories of him we have is him on his hands and knees laying tile in small areas of the "new" church facility when he was way beyond retirement age. He served faithfully in so many areas of First Baptist Church down through the years. You have a rich heritage in his gentle, quiet manner of life -- but viewed as a tower of strength and an example of Godly character. May our great Comforter bring to you His grace and amazing comfort for today and tomorrow, especially. 2 Cor. 1:3 Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Memories

Dick and Dorothy were our neighbors across the street when I grew up on SW 2nd street. They were always wonderful folks to be around. It was a happy day in Heaven, I'm sure, when Dick was finally able to rejoin his bride. God be with you all left here. Just know that we will all meet again someday.
