Memories

Judy, Chuck, & Sandy; If it was possible for me to be there right now I would. Your mother's passing brings to mind many memories that I will cherish forever. She sold me fragrance for my wife of 50 years when we were courting. She cut my hair. She talked music and bus driving experiences and we would compare notes. She sold me shoes. She was so gifted in so many ways but most of all she leaves a legacy of having made a difference in the lives of so many people with whom she came in contact. You all were truly blessed to have her as your mother.

Memories

My deepest sympathy to all the family. Fran, was one classy lady. Growing up I remember there was always room for one more at the dinner table, she always had a smile, wave or kind comment for everyone. She was the best bus driver, even had bandaids for when we would skin our knees on the bus steps. She gave the best hugs. When they opened up the Shoe Shop it was even better as you could get shoes, other odds & ends plus visit---then if you ripped the zipper on your winter coat she'd fix right there on the spot. She pierced my ears for my first earrings, many years ago --have added a few since. By gosh, I think she even gave me a haircut at one time, when I really needed it. THE SHOP WINDOW--it was always a treat to see how she would design it for the holidays & seasons---it was beautiful. It was after she started this unique tradition that alot of the other shops in Morristown did the same--but hers was top of the line always. When you would visit anyone at the Plum House, you had to make time to visit with Fran. She was a true gem, one of a kind WONDERFUL LADY.... God Bless you all for having such a lovely lady to look up too. There is one more bright star in the heavens now.
