Memories

Okay folks, I know I'm 4 years late. I stumbled upon this searching on the internet for my relatives. Wayne, I got to meet you when I was 8 years old (1969) when my dad (Robert L. Kocina) drove us in our camper from California to Minnesota to meet all the Kocina's on our vacation. It was the experience of my lifetime! Wayne, you left a positive life long impression on me and am glad my brother Eddie and I got to run around with you playing around at your house. You were so full of joy and happiness and I was thrilled to learn we are related! I only wish I could have returned to see you prior to your departure. I shared my experience with you with my only son. Say hi to Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad. God Bless Wayne!

Memories

I have always looked up to Wayne for the many qualities he had. Wayne was such a loving, caring, generous and genuinely happy person. His zest for life was contagious and has inspired me to make the most of each day. There are not enough words to express what an outstanding man Wayne was. I am very thankful for the time we spent together and the many things he had taught me about life. There are many cherished memories of Wayne that are often recalled, and I look forward to the day that I will see him again. Love always, "Bulldog"

Memories

What a guy! When ever he saw me, no matter how he felt, he always had an open heart and open arms for the ones he liked. It's hard to see the good ones go on before us. My heart goes out to his family and friends. God be with you. Sandy

Memories

I will always remember the love he brought to everyone. Making people always feel like they meant something. He always gave a hug, or a kiss on the cheek. It was almost like he knew if someone was feeling down, just him being him would pick them right back up. The Love he had for people was outstanding. I will keep with me always the love he spread. I will love and miss you always. Have a safe journey!

Memories

My Dearest Uncle Wayne,

Such a gentleman (and ladies man) you will be forever in my heart!  My fondest memories, as a child, were our summer vacations to visit you, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Shirley & Uncle Ralph.  You always kept us smiling, dancing to Elvis, swinging on the backyard swing & watching the "Price is Right"!  No matter how much time that passed between our visits, in person or on the phone, you would always recognize my voice & say "Kelley Jo" whenever I called.  This always brought such a smile to my face!  I am truly blessed to have you as my Uncle.  You are an angel from heaven above.  I love you forever, your niece, Kelley Jo

Memories

My precious Uncle Wayne was such a beloved part of our family.  His smile would always light up the room.  He loved to shop, play the slot machines. go out to eat, and go to Twin games.... but nothing stands out more than his love for Elvis.  When we would come out to visit for a month during the summer, we could always count on Uncle Wayne getting out his Elvis records and showing us his most excellent moves.....  He had it down to a T.  Soon, all three of us girls would get up with him dancing around the room as we giggled with delight.  I am telling you......  Elvis had Nothing on Uncle Wayne.  Uncle Wayne was truly "the real King".

Our Uncle Wayne will be missed more than words can describe....  Heaven has just been blessed with a true angel.

Your Loving Niece,

Piper Hatfield

Memories

A Friend Is Like A Flower... A friend is like a flower -- a rose to be exact, Or maybe like a brand new gate --that never comes unlatched A friend is like an owl, both beautiful and wise Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost, whose spirit never dies. A friend is like those blades of grass -- you can never mow, standing straight, tall, and proud -- in a perfect little row A friend is like a heart that goes --strong until the end. Where would we be in this world -- if we didn't have a friend. Author Unknown Wayne, Thank you fo the many years we shared. Thank your Mom and Dad for the blessing they gave us. You taught many people many things...You are the strongest person I will ever know..YOU truely are the superhero! I will miss your smiles in the morning, your winks and mostly your hugs!..you are gone from us, but, NEVER forgotten.....jamiegirl
